Gloria Steinem and Dorothy Pitman Hughes, New York 1971

This iconic image of the two founders of Ms. Magazine was taken by Dan Wynn in 1971 for Esquire Magazine and shows Steinem and Hughes sharing a large skirt, each with a raised fist salute to demonstrate feminist solidarity. A print of this image is housed in The National Portrait Gallery's collection.

All modern prints are made on Fine Art Baryta Paper and arrive accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity from the Dan Wynn Archive. Each unframed print is archive embossed on the front lower right corner. Limited Edition prints are hand numbered on the front lower left hand corner in archival ink.
